    Responsibilities

    About the role

    The Learning and Development Coordinator will work with the business to help build our brand and reputation, offering support and guidance on all learning requirements.  This person will be required to demonstrate an exceptional level of customer service as they will interface with all key stakeholders across the business.

     

    Essential Job Functions

     

    • Schedule and coordinate internal and external training courses and professional exams as well as being able to advise employees on professional qualifications and courses to aid career development.
    • Communicate and promote L&D training, initiatives, launches and updates.
    • Analyse training data and MI, identifying any trends and reporting back monthly to the Head of Learning & Development (to include the return on investment for all training).
    • Collate data on the quality and effectiveness of training via feedback and evaluations as well as designing and delivering regular training surveys/Office Vibe questions to identify any knowledge gaps.
    • Be the systems administrator and key liaison for the learning management system (SkillServe), career development tool (Career Drive) and online learning platform (Udemy).
    • Manage and update the training records for all employees in accordance with Select HR and GDPR.
    • Ensure all resources and supporting materials (including pre-course) are produced as needed, organise all venues for events/sessions and ensure that materials are ordered in time.
    • Be the key contact for suppliers and maintain a high-quality external vendor network in line with internal sourcing policies and procedures.
    • Liaise with company communications to ensure Learning and Development initiatives are appropriately communicated to the business.
    • Prepare and monitor the L&D budget and ensure all invoices and expenses are processed monthly.
    • Be responsible for the administration and maintenance of the training plan and subsequent training requirements.
    • Project manage, maintain and update the company induction and mentoring programme – this may include some facilitation of these sessions.
    • Be the central point for minutes and action logs following all L&D meetings.

    Qualifications

    Job Specific Experience/Technical Skills/Abilities

     

    • Experience in a customer service or team administration focused role
    • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in MS Outlook Word, Excel and Power Point
    • Ability to work both within a team and independently
    • Ability to meet deadlines
    • Prioritisation and working under pressure
    • Good administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to manage and deliver a multitude of projects at any one time
    • Must be curious and seek to instil automated and digital solutions wherever appropriate
    • Must be comfortable in using technology and leveraging digital applications and media platforms
