    We are looking for a qualified Digital Marketing Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content to achieve our business goals. Your duties will also include monitoring web traffic, SEO performance and metrics to identify best practices.


    Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with demonstrable content management/digital marketing skills. As a Content manager, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented. If you are also an expert in content optimization and brand consistency, we would like to meet you.


    Ultimately, you should be able to oversee digital marketing content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency and a positive customer experience. It will be about managing our web content (websites, social) and optimising our SEO strategy to maximise user engagement, create a positive experience with our digital touchpoints, and ensure our digital channels are on-brand.


    This role reports into the Head of Digital, Octopus Group Marketing.



    About the role


    • Manage and maintain the Octopus Investments website (WordPress)
    • Plan, drive and execute website enhancements primarily based on user research conducted and business needs collaborating with internal teams
    • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM and social media (mainly LinkedIn)
    • Help maintain our social media presence on LinkedIn and Twitter
    • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
    • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
    • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
    • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
    • Be the guardian of brand guidelines online, making sure the Octopus Investments digital channel are well aligned with other Group digital channels
    • Analyse website traffic and users engagement metrics: own our digital dashboard and report to the rest of the team on all metrics
    • Ensure compliance with law (e.g. FCA regulation, copyright and data protection)
    • General reporting and administration tasks as required


    Job Specific Experience/Technical Skills/Abilities


    • Degree in marketing or a related field
    • Proven working experience in digital marketing
    • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
    • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
    • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
    • Ideally experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
    • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in websites, web design, digital marketing, social media and measurement
    • Knowledge of the regulated financial services market is a major advantage. Otherwise the candidate will have to prove a clear capability of rapidly accumulating this level of understanding
    • Strong relationship building skills, and a can-do attitude are a must
    • Good organizational and time-management skills
    • Attention to detail
