About the role
The role of Executive Assistant is principally to support 2 directors: the Group Finance Director and the Group Director of Corporate Development. The role will involve extensive diary management and meeting arrangements as well as being the go-to person for these two senior executives. There will be occasional ad hoc administrative support for the broader Group Finance team of 10. Your role will underpin the smooth-running of a busy team which works with all parts of the wider Octopus group. The team produces and manages confidential materials for the firm’s senior leadership and its shareholders, and is responsible for several complex projects including joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions.
The candidate will be working in a fast paced, deadline-driven, professional environment. They will be extremely well organised and able to juggle and prioritise their work load accordingly.
A previous incumbent in this role was promoted to an expanded role elsewhere in the fast-growing group. As a fast-growing business, opportunities regularly arise across the Octopus group to take on responsibilities for specific projects.
