About the role
Octopus manages over £600 million of total funds for six venture capital trusts. The Specialist Finance team (part of Octopus Investments) are responsible for the regulatory reporting of the VCTs, the preparation of management accounts, preparation of Annual Reports, presentation to the Boards, managing the audits dealing with tax returns and liaising with other departments within Octopus on ad hoc queries. This role will sit across a number of VCTs and assist with all aspects of fund management.
The role reports into the Financial Controller of OITS & VCT Finance and requires an individual with a strong team focus but ability to work and lead tasks independently.
This role is ideal for someone with an interest in management accounting, strong accounting technical skills and with ideas on how to improve processes and implement change.
