The successful candidate must demonstrate pragmatic, hands-on project management abilities, applying rigor to the delivery process while being able to respond to a rapidly changing environment. For smaller projects, the candidate will need to act in a business analysis capacity, eliciting and documenting requirements. Perhaps most crucially, the candidate must have the drive and ability to constantly improve the way we understand and run projects and act as an advocate for the delivery function across the company – and hence be an integral part to the future success of Octopus.
The project manager adds significant value across the company by ensuring successful project delivery – by planning, budgeting, managing stakeholder relationships, actively managing risks and issues, identifying and managing dependencies and also supporting system test and user acceptance testing.
The position reports into the Head of Central Change Team within the Group Strategy function.
