Credit Managers must be highly motivated and passionate individuals who thrive in working in a fast-paced and hardworking credit team. The team is expanding rapidly and they aim to provide a level of underwriting expertise that is unrivalled in the financial services industry.


You will own your pipeline of cases from application through to post completion and ensure that all loans are underwritten in line with internal and regulatory policies. As our commercial property business grows in size, we are looking for an experienced individual who can manage all commercial loans and in so doing deliver a better, more focused and proactive customer service.


At present, the commercial team are completing circa 4 loans per month but will be looking to increase this significantly over the next 12 to 24 months.  The successful candidate will be able to build a team beneath them that can accommodate the growing workload.


Essential Job Functions

  • Manage and own your pipeline, overseeing the deal from application to post completion
  • Deal with any matters arising throughout the underwriting of the loan
  • Be a point of contact for brokers/clients at all stages of the deal
  • Liaise with brokers, clients, solicitors, valuers and asset managers
  • Ensure all documentation meets internal and regulatory policies
  • Present HTAR cases to compliance to allow assessment for due diligence
  • Work closely with the fund managers to ensure the best possible outcome for the customer
  • Efficiently manage your work load in a fast paced and pressured environment
